Great Cornard Leisure Centre sits at the heart of it’s community.
We aim to be a facility highly valued by the people of Great Cornard and the surrounding villages, one for which they are proud to use.
Young or old, established athlete or one just looking to get into shape; our sports facilities are designed to meet the needs of everyone.
Our indoor and outdoor spaces are available to hire on short term or long term basis and our fitness suite provides accessibility for all.
The Gainsborough Coffee House provides an excellent environment to relax after a workout or as a destination to catch up with friends over a latte seven days a week.
Our Summer Holiday Swims are back for 2026.
Sessions run from 21st July – 28th August, Monday through Friday with swims starting at 12:00
Children 16 years and younger can purchase a Holiday Swim pass for £12, enabling a whole summer of swims (with a maximum of 7 swims per week, per child). A Holiday Swim Pass can be used on ANY leisure swim session Monday – Sunday .
Swim passes can be purchased by visiting the Centre during opening hours. Children under 8yrs must be accompanied by a adult (18 yrs or older), who must be in the water with the child and within reach. Booking is highly advised, and we recommend arriving early to checked in.
Full T&C’s are available within the centre, including swim and behaviour policies.

Our fully air conditioned gym is equipped with a range of cardio, free-weights and fixed resistance machines- perfect for all your gym needs.
We are equipped with 2 sports halls.
